I’m excited to offer a Part 2: Intermediate Parent & Child Uke program for those who want to continue strumming and bonding together as a family and take their ukulele adventure to the next level. The Burlington Strum Squad showed so much enthusiasm and dedication to learning that I know you will do great things with continuing your ukulele journeys!

This is a more in-depth intermediate program designed for returning students who are ready to go further with their playing- with group sizes of just 10 students or less, this will feel more like a private lesson but still retain that community feel that we enjoyed over the fall (intermediate ukulele games, anyone?).

Each lesson will have a similar structure to what you're used to, but the smaller group size will allow us to dive deeper into the next steps of ukulele fundamentals.

Here are the details:

What: Strum Squad Parent & Child Intermediate Uke: 6-Week Ukulele Program (small group, semi-private style)
When: Wednesday evenings from Nov 12 - Dec 17
Where: Brant Hills Community Centre, 2255 Brant St, Burlington, ON L7P 5C8
Time: 7:30pm-8:30pm (45 minute lesson)
Cost: $169/person for the 6 week program
Ukulele Rental: Included!

Just like you're used to, each session will run for a full 45 minutes, with 15 minutes extra at the start allowing time to tune, settle in, ask questions, catch up, etc. We'll explore deeper concepts like new songs (Riptide, anyone?), strumming patterns, new chords (learning the D and G chords unlocks countless new songs for us!), ear training, and more.

The group size will be limited to just 10 students or less to ensure each student gets more individual attention from me (as we dive into more challenging chords) while still retaining the same fun, community-based learning environment (new game options for smaller groups!).
