Cambridge P&C Strum Squad: LIVE from the Walnut Room (Ukulele Concert July 16, 2025)

Our Cambridge Parent & Child program may have been a smaller group than our usual squads, but the energy, enthusiasm, and heart they brought to our end-of-session concert was huge.

This video captures six of the amazing parent-child students from the final class of our summer session. Whether it was their first time performing music together or their first time performing at all, these families showed courage, creativity, and community spirit—and they strummed their hearts out!

At Strum Squad, it’s not about perfection- it’s about connection. Ukulele gives us a fun, low-pressure way to learn music side by side with the people we love, and seeing parents and kids cheer each other on during this concert reminded us why we do what we do.

We’re so proud of everyone who participated, and we can’t wait to keep building this kind of musical community together in future sessions.
